Headlight Restoration Process
Step 1
Sanding Headlights with 1000 grit
In the first sanding round, we remove oxidation, creating a haze effect.
Step 2
Sanding Headlights with 2000 grit
As we move in the process, we remove less oxidation and focus on sanding marks. Should notice a big improvement.
Step 3
Sanding Headlights with 3000 grit
Final step and the headlight is looking much better. Now its ready for compound.
Step 4
Compound the headlights
Using a polisher and a cutting compound with a cutting pad, we’ll removed the sanding marks.
Step 5
Polish the headlights
To achieve the max clarity, we conclude with a polish, refining the cutting step.
Step 6
Protect the headlights
For protection we will apply a 6-month sealant.
